Italy NT coach Luciano Spalletti is trying to rejuvenate the Azzurri’s squad in the aftermath of this summer’s Euros.
The new additions to the squad in the October international break were Maldini and Roma’s Pisilli.
For the upcoming two Nations League games with Belgium and France, Spalletti is reportedly looking at the U21 squad for fresh reinforcements.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, among the players likely to be called up with the senior team is Roma’s Tommaso Baldanzi.
The ex-Empoli player has consistently climbed in Roma’s hierarchy, becoming a steady presence in Ivan Juric’s rotations.
