Spalletti reacts to Champions League draw

Roma manager Luciano Spalletti spoke to Rola Radio today regarding the Giallorossi’s drawing of Porto in the Champions League Playoff round:

“Whatever the draw was, I would have considered it a crucial match for Roma, for the team, and for our environment. There are also real difficulties after learning who our opponent will be. Porto have history and important pieces in the team.

You have played in and won several matches in Europe with lots of pressure. The mentality, I assume, at the Dragao will be important.
Yes, I also happened to play them in the Champions League with Zenit. They have a certain type of environment at Porto, a difficult environment. But this will be the same for them when they return here in Rome. We must be ready to put into practice what I said earlier and be ready to put our foots on the accelerator immediately.
