Roma manager Luciano Spalletti spoke today ahead of the match against Atalanta, here are his words.
“We’ve grown up since the first leg against Atalanta, but we’re still not perfect. In that first match against Atalanta, we got it wrong in the second second half and we didn’t take advantage of our chances. It is a match that has hidden dangers, they have kept up their pace and we will need a great Roma, but I am convinced that we will be ready.”
“The absence of Gomez? A big loss because he’s a great player, a champion, a player worthy of a great team. It’s an advantage for us that Papu will miss the match.”
The Roma manager then went on to praise Juve in their win over Barca, “They were incredible and had a perfect match. They conceded little to a squad that has incredible offensive quality.”
Spalletti then turned to the future, “We’ll see at the end of the season whether I stay or go. There are more important renewals before mine. Kessie? If Roma buy him they have a chance to be even stronger.”
