Spezia manager Luca Gotti analyzed bitterly his side’s home defeat to Jose Mourinho’s men in tonight’s 0-2 result in Liguria.
“We certainly didn’t have a chance to hurt them tonight,” Gotti said in a post-match interview with DAZN. “I didn’t like the first half, and the game as whole. This felt more like a scoreless tie. It was an ugly game.”
“Our approach was correct in the first half, even in the second half the attitude was good. There was great effort from everyone, given the players we were missing.”
“It was to easy for Roma to read our gameplan without Nzola on the pitch,” he concluded.
