Leonardo Spinazzola was one of the protagonists of Roma’s 1-1 draw at the De Kuip Arena in Rotterdam against Feyenoord.
The Italian fullback – who delivered a perfect assist which led to Lukaku’s goal – spoke to Sky Sport after the game.
“I’m happy to have made this assist, as I am happy for the team’s performance and for the draw. We’ll play to advance in Rome. We knew the game would be tough and it was.”
“We knew we had to suffer to get a result here. We also knew that there would come a point during the game where we would have to be more compact and help each other more.”
“De Rossi is our coach but for many of us he’s also been a teammate in the past. This gives us a lot of confidence when we talk to each other before and after a match.”
