Earlier in September, Leonardo Spinazzola began his recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon, undergoing individual training at Trigoria. The left wing-back said, after sustaining the injury in Euro 2020, that he plans on coming back in November.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport this prediction may not be too far off from the actual schedule the player is going to follow in the coming weeks.

Roma are reportedly hoping to have Spinazzola ready to make his first appearance on December 9th against CSKA Sofia in the Conference League. The player has been inserted into the UEFA list for this reason.

For the next three weeks Spinazzola will continue working on his running motion and sprinting in order to warm up the tendon and stabilize his left leg.

Come November, the player is expected to return to training with the ball and join group training near the end of the month.
