120 days after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon, Leonardo Spinazzola finally obtains the green light that will allow him to complete the last phase of recovery.
According to Corriere dello Sport, yesterday the Roma wing-back met with his surgeon, Dr. Lasse Lempainen (who landed in the capital all the way from Torku, Finland).
The player underwent a series of tests and check-ups personally supervised by Lempainen himself. The results came out positive as Spinazzola’s recovery nears its final moments.
The 28-year-old will now be able to intensify the workload and undergo individual reactivation training.
Spinazzola’s hope and expectation is to return to group training after the international break in November in order to be available for Roma’s Conference League match vs Zorya at the end of the month.
