Newly acquired Leonardo Spinazzola gave his first interview today Roma TV since arriving at Trigoria. These are his words:
“It’s a great feeling to be here. I’ve liked Roma since I was a child because they always played good football. Plus, the city and stadium are beautiful and the fans are passionate. I believe this is Year Zero for Roma: this is a fresh start. They explained to me the project will involve many youngsters and Italians. I’m happy to be a part of this new cycle with a new manager. It’s going to be a good group, I already know 7-8 of the guys from the national team. My personal goals? I want to have a good season as I’ve done in the last few seasons. Even though I didn’t play a whole lot, I’m convinced I did well with Juve. I want to have continuity from both a physical and mental point of view. The upcoming Euro will be important for many of us Italian players. From a team point of view, we’re starting fresh. We’ll see where we arrive. Soon we’ll all meet the new Mister and start a group: the pitch will have its say”.
