Leonardo Spinazzola’s recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon is nearing its final stages.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Roma full-back is scheduled to meet with his surgeon, Dr. Lempainen, in Finland in the opening week of January.
If the consultation were to go well, Spinazzola would slowly be reintegrated into group training. It is estimated that another three weeks are needed to stabilize his condition.
Furthermore, the club are reportedly thinking about offering Spinazzola a contract renewal to show him trust and further motivate him upon his return from injury.
