Leonardo Spinazzola, well into his recovery from a painful Achilles tendon tear sustained during international duty at Euro 2020, is taking the first steps that will eventually lead him to full recovery.
Earlier today, the Italian international was seen training individually at Trigoria. The wing-back underwent a series of running exercises that will serve to work on his acceleration and his confidence in moving with increased speed.
During today’s training session, Spinazzola was also able to chat with Jose Mourinho.
All signs point to the player being on his way to making full recovery by the end of December.
