Leonardo Spinazzola is making big steps toward full recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon he suffered during Euro 2020.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, the Italian left-back was seen training for the first time with the ball earlier today at Trigoria.
The player is working on running and accelerating with the ball at his feet.
Spinazzola was also briefly interviewed on his way to the Italian Senate, and when asked about the progress of recovery, he answered:
“I am delighted with how the recovery is going. I said I would be back by the end of November, I hope to make it.”
