Spinazzola says Roma lacked intensity in Cremonese loss

Andy Mattioli

Despite making his third consecutive appearance from the start and further improving the overall level of Roma’s attack, Leonardo Spinazzola was called to answer questions from the media after the Giallorossi’s defeat in Cremona.

“More than quality I think of the lack of intensity, we were slow to start with and got better in the second half,” he told Sky Sport at full-time.

“The severity of this loss will depend on the next results. We must get back on our feet as soon as possible in the match against Juventus.”

“I think we can still qualify for Champions League. This is a good group of players, both in wins and losses. We will fight until the end.”
