Leonardo Spinazzola’s recovery is picking up pace, as the player gets ready to enter the final phase of recovery in order to be at Jose Mourinho’s disposal by the end of November.
According to Corriere dello Sport, today will be an important day for the Italian international.
Lasse Lempainen, the surgeon responsible for operating on Spinazzola’s Achilles, is expected to land in the Italian capital later today to meet with the wing-back and Roma’s medical staff and discuss his progress.
Based on this consultation, Spinazzola will begin the final phase of recovery which will mostly consist of reactivation exercises.
The objective is to reintegrate Spinazzola with the rest of the group by the end of November. The player – who has been inserted into the club’s UEFA list – could already be available for Roma’s final Conference League group game vs CSKA Sofia on December 9th.
