Roma wing-back Leonardo Spinazzola is on his way to Findland for the final consultation with his surgeon, Dr. Lasse Lempainen in Turku.
Italian journalist Alessandro Austini of Il Tempo reports that the player is accompanied with Vincenzo Costa, the club’s doctor and Spinazzola’s main supervisor for his recovery.
The consultation with Dr. Lempainen will serve to finally give Spinazzola the green light to return to group training.
After eight months of recovery and personalized training, the 29-year-old is nearing his first call-up which could take place in mid-April.
