The agent of Leonardo Spinazzola addressed the much talked about contractual situation involving his client.

In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, Davide Lippi – Spinazzola’s long-time agent – addressed the fullback’s future as Roma have yet to show any signs of wanting to continue working together beyond the expiry of his current contract which runs out in June of next year.

“I think Spinazzola’s having a good season,” said Lippi. “Roma are struggling a bit in general, as a team. They suffered in some matches, but the player is strong and of international level. He is still young, he is thirty years old and has everything in place to have an important career.”

“Yes, his contract is expiring, so we’ll see what he does next year, there are many opportunities that we will evaluate,” added Lippi.

“Any discussions regarding his contract are premature at this point. Spinazzola is very calm. He is of such an age that he is not conditioned by the rumors, he plays and gives his all for Roma, there is time for the everything else. Of course, when the deadline expires, it’s normal for him to have a lot of attention from other clubs as well.”
