Leonardo Spinazzola’s agent, Davide Lippi, confirmed the Italian fullback’s positive recovery progress after his client was called up for the first time since the injury in July 2021 for Roma-Salernitana.
Lippi sounded very optimistic in an interview with Sky Sport. “He’s feeling mentally and physically well,” he said. “Now he needs to put some minutes in his legs.”
“He’s got a very contagious smile and enthusiasm, and to see him so happy is a great joy.”
He concluded, “Italian football needs more players like him.”
