Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim led his side to an exhilarating last minute victory over Arsenal in last night’s Europa League showdown.
Following the final whistle, the Portuguese manager responded to the various comparisons with Jose Mourinho being made by the media and revealed that the two remain in touch throughout their respective campaigns.
“There will never be another Mourinho,” Amorim told reporters at full-time. “He is one of a kind, and he has already sent me a message, saying that the old man and the young one have both qualified to the next round.”
