SportItalia: Roma, Empoli agree for Rui

Alfredo Pedullà of SportItalia has reported Empoli left-back Mario Rui is close to joining Roma.

Reportedly, Roma will pay €3 million for the loan of Rui with an obligation to buy set at €6 million, costing Roma a total of €9 million for the Portugese player. Now, the Giallorossi must agree to personal terms with the player and his entourage: something that isn’t expected to be complicated.

Furthermore, Lukasz Skorupski will spend another season at Empoli as part of the operation.
