Sportitalia: Zaniolo expected to extend Roma contract until 2026

Nicolò Zaniolo may be finally nearing his long-awaited extension with the capital club after months of speculation linked him with several other teams including Milan and Juventus.

After gifting Roma the goal to win the Conference League, Sportitalia report that the player is expected to extend his contract with the Giallorossi for an additional two years until 2026.

According to the Italian outlet, Roma met with the player’s entourage earlier today and agreed upon a two-year extension of his contract.

Furthermore, if the extension were to be made official, Zaniolo would also receive a wage increase with a salary of around €4.5 million.
