Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is rumored to be among the candidates for Roma’s midfield come the summer transfer window.
According to Corriere della Sera, the Danish international is not happy in London anymore. His form has dropped considerably since the arrival of Antonio Conte and thus, the 26-year-old midfielder may look to move elsewhere in June.
The Giallorossi, on the other hand, are monitoring various candidates for the role of the regista. The capital club are reportedly considering Hojbjerg with whom Mourinho shares a special bond. The player himself stated frequently that the Special One was the best manager he’s ever had and would like to work with him again.
The big Dane’s price-tag is still quite high considering that his current Spurs contract is set to expire in 2025, but with Bentancur’s recent arrival in London, Hojbjerg’s willingness to move elsewhere may overpower Tottenham’s demands.
