Tottenham Hotspurs defender Japhet Tanganga is being linked with the Italian capital club as the Giallorossi’s search for an additional centre-back continues.
According to Il Tempo, Tanganga is – along with Zagadou, and Man United’s Eric Bailly – a candidate to strengthen Roma’s defence.
The 23-year-old – who got his first start with José Mourinho during the Special One’s time in London – is now looking to move away from Spurs.
Tanganga has been eyed by Milan who for the moment are busy prioritising other players.
The Englishman is open to joining the capital club on loan and could represent a cheaper alternative to Eric Bailly for whom United continue to ask €10 million – a fee Roma seem unwilling to pay right now.
