Paolo Berdini, Rome’s councillor for city planning, has officially resigned from his position.
This comes on the heels of a firestorm of quotes from Berdini, who even slightly insulted Rome mayor Virginia Raggi, who commented on the dismissal of Berdini, one of the main opponents of the Stadio della Roma:
“Now it’s enough. We have had enough of the bar-style gossip. Berdini seemed to prefer continuing controversy rather than working.”
