After a three-hour video conference this evening, the final vote for the approval of the Stadio della Roma is drawing closer.
Il Tempo journalist Fernando Magliaro detailed today’s meeting regarding the Giallorossi’s project, which was originally introduced in 2014.
Reportedly, Rome mayor Virginia Raggi, 26 of her fellow Movimento Cinque Stelle (M5S) party members, various city council members, and those who worked on the project dossier were all in attendance this evening.
The meeting served as an opportunity for the parties to discuss the costs and all of the technical procedures regarding the project to ensure there was no corruption throughout the approval process.
The leaders of the M5S party will now study and reflect over the next few days on all of the information they gathered before the go ahead of the voting process.
While there was no final vote for approval of the stadium today, it won’t be long before this vote takes place.
