Stadio della Roma, Raggi: “Barring a disaster, the stadium moves forward”.

Virginia Raggi, mayor of Rome, has issued some statements rearding the Stadio della Roma. These are her words to Radio Radio:

“Barring a disaster, which I can exclude because all the institutions of the Conferenza dei Servizi have given their ‘OK’, we will move forward with the Stadio della Roma, potentially making required changes. Now we are waiting for a response from the Politecnico di Torino, who are currently evaluating the transportation issue – this could arrive in a month and a half or two. The due diligence on the project will be finished by the end of the year. Once we get an answer on the transportation issue, we’ll understand better which direction we will go. It’s clear that for the administration, this project moving forward is important, though, we’ve always maintained the project must be done right”.
