Milan manager Stefano Pioli expressed all of his disappointment with the Rossoneri’s defeat to Roma in tonight’s return leg of the Europa League quarterfinals.

In his post-match interview with Rai Sport, the Italian technician remarked, “Roma deserved it, they put more quality on the pitch than us.”

“In both games we had the same opportunities, perhaps we had more chances overall but we weren’t able to score, just like in the second half.”

“We were not good enough in both legs, we didn’t show enough quality in our performances.”

“I expected the team to play better and win. I’m not satisfied with tonight’s effort,” he added.
