AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has been linked with a potential managerial switch to Roma.
According to today’s edition of La Repubblica, Roma have began planning their long-term future including considerations being made for the future of Jose Mourinho which for the time being remains uncertain.
As a result, Roma CEO Lina Souloukou is said to have been personally tasked with making inquiries for potential replacements of Mourinho.
Among the names included in Souloukou’s list is the name of Stefano Pioli.
The Italian technician – despite having recently renewed his contract with the Rossoneri – is predicted to depart Milan in search of a new club to join. Pioli wants to remain in Italy and Roma may soon become a viable option for him.
