Roma’s win over Monza cost Mourinho’s a considerable amount of energy given that the Giallorossi played with Juventus only two days ago. In tonight’s impressive win over Monza, both Stephan El Shaarawy and Marash Kumbulla exited the game with muscle pain.
As reported by Italian journalist Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Kumbulla was forced off the pitch in the first half due to a problem with the flexor muscle in his left leg.
In the meantime, Stephan El Shaarawy experienced pain in his left thigh. Both players will be monitored daily and, if required, will run more rests with the club’s medical staff.
