Roma attacker Stephan El Shaarawy did not hide his relief and excitement following his late-winning goal against Monza.
The Italian winger scored a beautiful volley to give Roma a precious win over Raffaele Palladino’s side.
In his post-match interview with Roma TV, El Shaarawy remarked the importance of today’s result.
“Today we showed continuity, which we lacked last year. It’s an important victory, even if it came at the last minute. There are things to improve, but we will take the three points which give us confidence going forward.”
