Stephan El Shaarawy has also been linked with the latest illegal betting scandal in Italy.
In a series of revelations made by notorious ex-paparazzo and convicted felon Fabrizio Corona – editor of Dillinger News – Stephan El Shaarawy’s name has been added to the long list of players presumably involved in illegal betting activities.
According to Corona, El Shaarawy is the second Roma player to have been involved in illegal betting platforms.
Nicola Zalewski had been accused by Corona last week but denied all allegations and his entourage are currently evaluating the possibility of suing Corona.
El Shaarawy – along with Lazio’s Casale and Juve’s Gatti – is the latest Italian player to have been added to Corona’s list during an exclusive interview with Striscia La Notizia.
