Stephan El Shaarawy’s condition is being monitored after the player came off at halftime vs Fiorentina.
The Italian attacker was replaced at halftime in today’s defeat at the Franchi in Florence after scoring the opening goal.
According to DAZN, El Shaarawy felt pain in his quadriceps muscle which he recently injured a few weeks ago.
The substitution was likely of preventive nature as Roma focus on the upcoming Europa League final on Wednesday.
