Steven Nzonzi demands free transfer, asks for compensation

General Manager Tiago Pinto is in London also to attend other business meetings related to Roma’s transfer window. One of these meetings is reportedly with an intermediary to Steven Nzonzi’s rumored move to Qatar.

According to Il Tempo, the French midfielder who was excluded by Mourinho from preseason group training will likely be the next one to leave the club.

The Frenchman, however, has already stated a set of strict demands before leaving Roma: he wants a ”buonuscita” – a fee meant to compensate for premature contract resolution – of around €1.5 million and a free transfer.

Pinto will thus work to resolve this situation and grant the player’s (and club’s) desire to part ways.

Moreover, the Portuguese director also wants to make the sales of Olsen and Florenzi permanent in the coming days.
