Roma are hoping to secure the exit of at least one player in January – the choice is between Leonardo Spinazzola or Renato Sanches.
The two players have failed to impress Jose Mourinho and are now on Roma’s transfer list.
The Italian fullback’s departure, in particular, is a priority for Roma in this transfer window as he has only a few months remaining on his current deal and the Giallorossi do not wish to lose him in free agency.
As a result, the club have urged Spinazzola’s agent to begin shopping him around, collecting any and all interesting proposals.
According to il Messaggero, however, Spinazzola – despite drawing interest from Turkey and Saudi Arabia, among others – has yet to receive a concrete offer that might convince him and the club to commit to a transfer out of the Italian capital.
Without Spinazzola or Renato Sanches’ exit, Roma cannot add anymore signings in January.
