Strootman: “I will be here next season.”

Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman spoke to Sky Sport today. These are the words of the Dutchman:

The case of Spalletti-Dzeko?
They talked and Edin apologized, these are things that can happen. The Mister is already thinking about the next match, maybe he took him off because we only have two strikers. Who knows, but perhaps he’ll score in the Derby.

Your contract?
We are talking about it, there is now a new sporting director and I think there will be changes within the club. But I am fine here, everyone here has supported me when I was injured after my knee injuries. Everything has to be in place but certainly next season I will be here.

Spalletti, do you think he will stay?
He has changed the mindset since he has been here, we have moments where we do well then lose 2-3 matches, it is something that needs to be eliminated. It’s a tough job in Italy but technically and tactically he is strong. I hope he stays.
