Stuttgart striker Saša Kalajdžić an option for Roma

Incoming Roma boss José Mourinho is keen for the club to acquire a top quality striker this summer to reinforce the capital club’s attack.

Currently, the only striking options at Roma are Edin Dzeko and Borja Mayoral — with both possessing contracts that expire next summer.

The Giallorossi have been linked to several players so far this summer, including Torino’s Andrea Belotti, Real Sociedad’s Alexander Isak, and RB Leipzig’s Patson Daka. However, another name is beginning to emerge as a potential candidate: Stuttgart’s Saša Kalajdžić.

The Austrian international, who stands at a towering 2 meters (6’6″) tall, collected sixteen goals and six assists this past season for the German side in 33 appearances.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma have added Kalajdžić to their list of options after both Isak and Daka proved too expensive.

Stuttgart have slapped a €25 million price tag on the 23 year-old, though, they still haven’t received any formal offer from the Giallorossi.
