Mile Svilar was once again named best goalkeeper of last season.
This year, the Giallorossi goalkeeper was honored once again at the Gran Gala del Calcio in Milan, where the most deserving individuals from the championship that concluded at the end of May were present.
Malen was also named as one of the best forwards of the season
Intercepted by reporters in attendance, Svilar commented: “There are other strong goalkeepers, but I’m happy and grateful to be here again.”
He didn’t give any details about the Scudetto: “Step by step, we’re only at the beginning, we’ll do our part and then we’ll see. Working with Gasperini is wonderful, we’ve been together for a year now, and I think this will be even better.”
He then immediately took the stage with Malen, having to fly back to Rome, and was honored by Walter Zenga: “Why did I stay? We feel this club as a group. There are many players who have stayed or returned, we really wanted to stay at Roma. Is it difficult with Gasperini? I don’t jog… You’ll have to ask Malen!”
