RomaPress – Roma are eager to bring in a new “vice-Dzeko” this summer and one of the options the club is considering is that of Talleres attacker Nahuel Bustos.
The Giallorossi have been in contact with the player’s agent, Ignacio Campo, in recent weeks and even met with Alessandro Luci, the intermediary for the operation, last week.
Since last week’s meeting, though, talks have been put on hold between the parties. The Giallorossi do remain interested in the 21 year-old but are waiting to see how their situation evolves in the coming weeks in regards to the season resuming.
Spanish side Valencia remain the primary rival for the striker’s services and have a slight lead ahead of Roma for his signature.
However, the Giallorossi believe they could close a potential deal quickly since the asking price of Talleres ($10 million/€9 million) is not a lot.
