Talks for Zaniolo’s contract renewal progressing

Roma continue to negotiate the various details of Nicolo Zaniolo’s renewal after reportedly reaching an agreement in principle with Bryan Cristante’s entourage earlier in the week.

Now, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club continue to make steady progress for a successful completion of the deal that would extend Zaniolo’s stay in the Italian capital until 2027.

General Manager Tiago Pinto is in close contact with Claudio Vigorelli – the player’s agent – and the two are engaged in talks that will see Zaniolo become one of the club’s top earners along the likes of Lorenzo Pellegrini and Tammy Abraham.

Roma want to find an agreement soon in order to dismiss once and for all transfer rumors linking Zaniolo with other teams in Italy and abroad.
