Roma continue to be locked in negotiations with veteran centreback Leonardo Bonucci.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the capital club are engaged in talks with Bonucci’s entourage to bring the Italian defender to Jose Mourinho’s order for the remainder of the season.
Bonucci is considered a valid reinforcement as Roma continue to struggle with the prolonged absence of Chris Smalling.
The ex-Juve man is extremely motivated to return to Serie A as he continues to hope for a last-minute call-up to EURO 2024 with the Italian national team.
