Roma forward Tammy Abraham – the team’s leading goal-scorer in his first season with the Giallorossi – spoke to the club about the importance of the upcoming Conference League final.
“For me a final is a final, whether it’s the Champions League, the World Cup or the Conference and I want to win it.”
“My teammates want to win it, all of Rome wants to win it. It’s important to us, we want to prepare mentally and physically. This has been a difficult long season, we have to be ready.”
On his first season in the capital, Abraham commented, “It was a fantastic season. When I got here my goal was to help the team, I wanted to get to the final, to win some trophies.”
“We’re on the right track, we’re in the final and that’s why we made history. Now we want to finish the work to close this perfect circle.”
“The fans make you understand the importance of it every day. For such an important club it should boast many more trophies, with these fans, for the players who have worn this shirt…”
“Being here and having the chance to play a final with Roma you can only imagine what it means.”
