Roma attacker Tammy Abraham and defender Chris Smalling will not be leaving the capital anytime soon during the international break after the match with Torino.
As reported by The Athletic, England manager Gareth Southgate has decided to exclude the two Roma players from the Three Lions’ final team sheet for the world competition in Qatar.
Southgate named Newcastle’s Callum Wilson as England’s back-up striker to Harry Kane. In the meantime, Arsenal’s Ben White was preferred over Chris Smalling in the list of defenders for the World Cup.
Therefore, the two players will regularly take part in Roma’s training camp in Japan and Portugal later this month and in early December.
