Tammy Abraham and Nemanja Matic available for Roma-Cremonese

Jose Mourinho can breathe a sigh of relief as the conditions of Tammy Abraham and Nemanja Matic are reportedly not as severe as some of the club’s medical staff initially thought.

Both players experienced physical issues in the second half of Napoli-Roma, with Abraham walking off in disappointment after feeling sharp pain in his thigh muscle.

Similarly, Matic was replaced near the end of the match not for technical reasons but simply because the player felt discomfort in his calf muscle.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the two players did not undergo further medical tests at Trigoria indicating a quick recovery ahead of tomorrow night’s Coppa Italia match with Cremonese. The pair are expected to feature off the bench.
