Roma forward Tammy Abraham helped gift the Giallorossi a precious victory in tonight’s Europa League affair in Helsinki.
The Englishman addressed his recent goal-scoring draught and the impact it had on his morale in a post match interview with Sky Sport.
“I like to score goals and lately it’s been more difficult than I’m used to,” said the 25-year-old. “Fortunately my teammates continued to score in the meantime. Today I found myself at the right place at the right time.”
“There’s always a feeling of disappointment when I’m not able to score,” he continued. “I wanted to score goals and I know I can do it. I always want to help the team and I’m happy even when I don’t score and the team still wins.”
“We knew tonight was going to be difficult. We got off on the wrong foot but then we were able to improve as the game went on. We should have scored more goals tonight, but this will have to do for now.”
