Roma attacker Tammy Abraham helped lead his side over Empoli in tonight’s 2-0 victory at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Englishman sounded delighted of having returned to scoring in front of the home crowd.

“This was a very important goal for me,” Abraham told DAZN at full-time. “I couldn’t wait to return to scoring here at home. I could have scored twice, but I’ll take this anyway.”

“Cremonese? We were all disappointed,” he remarked, referring to Roma’s humiliating Coppa Italia elimination. “We wanted to get the three points today for ourselves and our fans. I still maintain that this team can compete for the top standings in the league.”

“Dybala? It’s so much easier when he’s on the field. He’s special. We get along with each other really well. There’s lots of winners in this team, not only Paulo.”

“My dream? It’s always the same. To win. We’re still in the Europa League and can still secure a Champions League spot in the league. I also dream of always helping the team.”
