Tammy Abraham encouraged by national team call-up and goal

Tammy Abraham is having the time of his life. After opening the season with the Giallorossi with 4 goals and 2 assists, the forward received his long-awaited call-up to the England national team and scored a goal in last night’s match against Andorra.

After the game, Abraham was interviewed by ITV Football where he briefly shared his thoughts on his future ambitions:

“I chose Roma and clearly it turned out to be the right choice. I hope this is just the beginning, I will continue to push.”

On World Cup 2022:

“I was disappointed to miss out on Euro 2020 but I’m playing every week now and hopefully I can keep performing. This is a tough squad to get in to – hopefully I can remain in it!”
