Tammy Abraham expected to stay at Roma for lack of offers

Tammy Abraham is unlikely to depart the Italian capital despite having been recently linked with a summer exit from Roma.

The Englishman has been the subject of much criticism from Roma fans after failing to perform for the Giallorossi since his return from a long absence due to a ruptured ACL suffered in June of last year.

Since his return, Abraham’s form has left much to be desired.

The ex-Chelsea man has struggled to fit into Daniele De Rossi’s system and was thus linked with a possible departure.

However, today’s edition of Il Messaggero reports that Roma expect the player to stay as he is unlikely to draw offers given his extensive absence from the pitch and continued lack of fitness.
