Tammy Abraham eyeing return from ACL injury in February

Andy Mattioli

Roma attacker Tammy Abraham is still a long way away from completing his recovery from an ACL injury suffered in June.

The Englishman has been sidelined for the past few months after suffering the long-term injury in Roma’s last match of the 22/23 campaign.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Abraham’s recovery is progressing steadily as expected.

The striker’s hope is to be able to ramp up the workload in the coming weeks and therefore speed things up.

Roma’s medical staff, however, insist on respecting the pre-established timeline of recovery.

As a result, the club plan to have Abraham fit enough by the end of January/start of February 2024 to return to group training. This would mean a definite return to the pitch by March of next year.
