Roma attacker Tammy Abraham once again proved crucial to the Giallorossi’s late comeback against Milan after gifting them a precious save on the line in their previous encounter with Bologna.
The English striker analyzed Roma’s reaction after going 0-2 down to the Rossoneri in a post-match interview with Roma TV.
“It was very difficult tonight,” said the 25-year-old. “We knew we wouldn’t have too many chances, but we had to keep pushing. At the last chance I told myself to be ready no matter what. I was in the right place, at the right time.”
“We are happy because we had worked very well during the week. I said before the break that we would come back stronger than before.”
“The coach told us we had to show character. After the first half, nobody stopped believing even though we were disappointed. Finally, we showed the right attitude to react in the finale.”
