Roma forward Tammy Abraham expressed his frustration with his own shortcomings in the first half of the season and reiterated his focus on a more positive return to the pitch in January during today’s press conference in Tokyo.
“For the media, when you do something right you are the best in the world, and when you’re in a slump you are automatically the worst in the world. Luckily I don’t know all the words in Italian so I can’t read the news, but I think it’s important to focus on yourself.”
“Mourinho? He knows us better than anybody and stimulates us to always give more than we do and all that we can give for the team.”
“To be honest, I have never been so angry with myself and focused on stepping back on the pitch again,” he concluded.
