Roma attacker Tammy Abraham sounded proud of the team’s effort in tonight’s win over Bayer Leverkusen.
“We gave our all today,” Abraham told DAZN at full-time. “It was a difficult game, they created some difficulties for us.”
“Today it was nice to see the compactness of the team, as we all defended and attacked together.”
“In a week a difficult match awaits us but we are on the right track,” he added.
“The most important thing is to help the team, that’s what we do with Belotti. To help the team we may have to sacrifice ourselves, but that’s fine with us.”
“Today the glory went to Bove and I am very happy with it.”
