Roma striker Tammy Abraham is inching closer to his debut with the club following his permanent move from Chelsea last week.
The 23 year-old returned to the Italian capital yesterday from the UK after resolving the situation related to his work permit and visa.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, the striker’s mandatory five-day quarantine began yesterday after he received the “OK” from the local health authority (Azienda Sanitaria Locale).
Doing so means his quarantine period will end on Sunday, making him available for the Giallorossi’s first league match of the season versus Fiorentina. Abraham is quarantining at Trigoria, where he trained individually this afternoon.
Even though he will be available for this weekend’s affair, it remains to be seen if manager Jose Mourinho will opt to use him given that the striker hasn’t participated in a full training session with his teammates.
